Each of us may reach a period in our life when we may seek psychotherapy. Therapy can be a great way to help you develop a better understanding of yourself and to reach your personal life goals.

Throughout the process of therapy, we will work collaboratively to help you to explore and grow. I use an eclectic blend of therapies, including psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), in order to help address your unique issues. I provide active, compassionate and supportive treatment in a safe and confidential environment. I have expertise in helping people improve their coping skills, manage depression and anxiety, improve relationships, and manage life transitions. I also have a particular interest in helping creative professionals, such as artists, musicians, actors, and performers.

I am a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I graduated summa cum laude from New York University, which is where I also received my Master of Social Work degree in 2003. Over the last 11 years I have worked primarily with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings, including Mount Sinai-Beth Israel's Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, NYU's Student Counseling and Wellness Services, and at an outpatient mental health clinic. I am greatly interested in continuing my own education and have completed additional training to improve my clinical skills. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Life can be a struggle. Why not seek help to create a positive change in your life?
